Does insurance cover this?
We are a direct-pay practice. We do not bill insurance. The $99/month flat fee covers all included services. You may be able to submit a superbill to your insurance for potential out-of-network reimbursement — ask us for details.
What if I don't need medication?
Your treatment plan is personalized. Not every patient with ADHD requires medication. Your psychiatrist will discuss all treatment options, including behavioral strategies, during your evaluation.
Can stimulant medications be prescribed through Riku Health?
Our licensed psychiatrist may prescribe Schedule II stimulant medications when clinically indicated following a comprehensive evaluation. All prescriptions comply with applicable DEA telemedicine rules and state law. Not all patients will qualify for controlled substance treatment.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Most patients can book an evaluation within one week of signing up, subject to provider availability. Treatment decisions, including any prescribing, are made by your psychiatrist during or following your appointment.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. There are no long-term contracts. You can cancel your membership at any time through the patient portal.
What if I'm not diagnosed with ADHD?
If your evaluation does not result in an ADHD diagnosis, your psychiatrist will discuss other potential explanations for your symptoms and may recommend other care pathways.
